Dear Parents & Carers,
Mrs Raju
It is with sadness that I inform you that Mrs Raju will be leaving Stow Heath Primary School at the end of this academic year when school breaks up for the summer holidays.
Mrs Raju has been a valued member of staff here at Stow Heath for a number of years. She has been instrumental in the creation of our Rockets provision in school which is highly regarded within the Local Authority as well as the numerous external agencies that come into school and she has supported many pupils and their families during her time here with us.
I understand that there will be many parents who may be a little worried about what happens next following this news. This week, leaders and governors have undertaken a recruitment process to find our next Assistant Headteacher which has been successful. I will be able to share further details about our new Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion once all the necessary legal paperwork has been completed, however parents can be assured that a thorough handover will take place as we head towards the summer holidays i.e. sharing information, records, annual reviews etc.
As with previous years, there will be an open session for parents after school one evening in the summer term for an opportunity to discuss your child’s school report. Our new Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion will be in attendance at this event which will be an ideal opportunity for parents to meet her prior to her starting date in September.
Although we still have half a term to go until the end of the academic year, on behalf of everyone here at Stow Heath Primary School, I would like to wish Mrs Raju the best of luck and I’m sure that our parents will also join us in these sentiments.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Scoffham
