October half-term local activities
Finding activities that occupy the children during half-term can be a challenge. Listed below are some local events for children and families that are going on in Wolverhampton and Walsall during the October half term holiday. All activities below are low cost. Where possible, links to the events web pages are attached.
For Sport opportunities in Wolverhampton, look on Events | Wolverhampton Young Opportunities (yowolves.co.uk) Children will need a YO! Active card – this is free to sign up to on the above website.

Sunday 27th October | Wolverhampton Art Gallery Art Play 11.00am to 1.00pm Our creative, sensory play sessions for families with babies and toddlers are led by artists and early years’ educators. Thursday 31st October | Wolverhampton Art Gallery Spooky Shadows – Halloween Arts and Crafts Workshop 10.30am and 1.30pm (2-hour workshops) Join this interactive family activity where participants create eerie silhouette artworks inspired by classic Halloween motifs.
